Ashlin's Baptism
Today Ashlin Rae was baptized at St. Barbara Mission in Santa Barbara. It was a beautiful ceremony held during the Saturday 4p.m. Mass. There were about 40 friends and family at the church to witness this special event, including our GREAT friend and now Ashlin's GODFATHER John Thyne. Father Mark Stetz is also going to play a major role in Ashlin's life also as a God father. He was unable to make the event, but was there is spirit & heart. During the baptism Ashlin was an absolute angel. Dressed in a hand made white lace gown (given to her by her Great Grandmother Joan), with bubble gum pink ribbon bow, and matching bonnet she looked beautiful. She was baptized by Father Dan in front of a packed church, then held high above Kevin's head all the way down the aisle. She was smiling the entire way and started clapping when everyone else starting clapping for her - it was precious. We also brought the gifts of bread and wine to the alter - when we arrived to the front Father Dan commented on what a wonderfully well behaved little girl we have. We felt very blessed. After the baptism we had everyone up to the house to celebrate with dinner, wine and cake. The whole evening was perfect!!

Our blog can be printed!
Our blog can now be printed! There is a small link to print the pages above the column on the left. You can select all or per page. I am still experimenting with this but I am excited to be able to print this and save for Ashlin.

Valentine's Day FUN!

We had a really great Valentine's Day weekend. Nana Lou (Mary Lou), Uncle Corey, James, Baby Ashlin, Louie and myself visited the Older Folks Senior Center (thanks to Aimee for the great idea). We took the kids and some cookies to brighten their day. The seniors at the center were so excited to see us and especially loved the cookies, it really made us feel good to offer some cheer. James and Ashlin were able to spend some quality time together. Nana Lou cooked a fabulous dinner for the whole family and we enjoyed relaxing at their farm!

The Rain is Coming...
We all bundled up for our jog this morning, but it was only a matter of time before the rain started. Luckily for us, we were able to get a nice run in and Ashlin took a long nap along the way.
