CINNAMON BUN HEAVEN and life update

I made cinnamon buns this morning for breakfast and it was a hit with Ashlin and Daddy. Then we took Louie and visited a school to let Ashlin play on the playground - it was nice to be outside in the sunshine. On anther note, I am finally starting to feel slightly better and thus able to be around food a little more. I am REALLY PREGNANT! Around 13 or 14 weeks, not sure. The morning sickness did get pretty bad (the worse was about 2 weeks ago), my doctor was so worried about me she insisted I go to urgent care directly after I left her office. I had to go get 3 bags of IV fluids pumped into me because I was too dehydrated - it really was not fun. I think everyone knows how deathly afraid of needles I am, they also medicated me and had to take 3 viles of blood to make sure my kidneys and liver were not damaged. I felt pretty good after leaving that place - so I still managed to go to work. I think I over worked the girls that day, I was hydrated and medicated...watch out!

Last weekend I took 4 girls and 5 horses to Ridgecrest for a hunting weekend, Ridgecrest is out past Mojave towards Mammoth Mountain. It was a fun trip, the girls are super silly and good listeners. I did throw up all night one of the nights and yes all 5 of us shared a hotel room so the girls got a first hand look of the joys of being pregnant. They are all around the age of 12-15 so I think it was good for them, mostly they just felt bad for me. Lots of riding and girl talk in the car ride that took 4-5 hours each way. There were a few times my driving skills of towing a 40ft six horse trailer were put to the test (especially when I got blocked in at a gas station and had to manuver backward between 5 parked cars, speeding motorists driving in to get gas and the highway that led directly into the gas station) but all went well and the girls were very impressed with my ability to put that trailer just about anywhere!

Fun at the Zoo 2010

We had a great day together at the SB ZOO. The weather was prefect 70 degrees. I forgot the stroller, but it turned out to be great because Ashlin walked the whole zoo! She especially loved feeding the goats. She was in the car less than 2 minutes before falling sleep.

Can you tell who is who? Addison or Ashlin??

Welcome Addison

Welcome baby Addison. Allison gave birth to Addison on New Year's Eve at 7pm. She is beautiful and healthy weighing 6.6 pounds and 19 inches long. Both mamma and baby are doing really well, Addison popped out in just 15 minutes. Cousin Krista was there the whole time giving Allison support along the way!
