Strolling Along....

It was a beautiful day for a walk. Nana Lou (Mary Lou) myself, baby Ashlin and Louie had a really nice long walk along the beach. It is my usual run route, from Shoreline Park to East Beach (about 5 miles). It was wonderful to have Nana Lou to chat with. Les and Mary Lou are staying at our house for an extended weekend - we have missed them. Mary Lou has been so great with Ashlin; watching her while I have been at work. Thanks Mary Lou - you are soooo great!

Finally....Food!!

Ashlin had her first taste of real food...applesauce.

PONY RIDES

This was Ashlin's first pony ride. The pony is a little tiny pony named Scooby. I picked him up today to try him out to see if he will become Ashlin's new pony. She had a great time and the pony was really sweet!

At The Doctor's Office

Ashlin made a visit to the doctor's office today to get 2 more shots. She was such a trooper - she didn't cry for either shot. The nurse said it was the first time in her 13 years that she had ever had an infant not cry for a shot. She said Ashlin is extrememly tough because one the shots really burn. This photo is of her right after the shots. She is such an easy baby! Afterward I took her and Louie on a long walk on the beach, is it a really beautiful day.

Sunset at our house - SOOOOO beautiful!!!!!

We are so lucky to be able to live on what seems like the top of the world. Every night is a breath taking sunset, Kevin and I are extremely blessed with where we live, the jobs we have, our little doggie and our pride and joy - Ashlin!

HAPPY GIRL!!!

Ashlin is super friendly and smiles at everyone, she giggles a lot.

We have a TOOTH! Actually Two!!!

Ashlin popped her first tooth last week. Uncle Corey was the one to find it - he likes to stick his finger in her month! Then yesterday I noticed another tooth. She has been so great about it, she is happy as ever. We have renamed her SMILELY GOODWIN!!!

Happy New Year! - 2009

We hiked around Red Rock on New Year's Day. It was a great way to spend the day together. Ashlin and Louie loved being out in nature.
