Tia Aimee picked up Ashlin early in the am and had a super fun sugary breakfast at Eller's donuts. She is so cute, picked out the sprinkled donut and only ate the sprinkles!

LAKE ARROWHEAD

SEPTEMBER 27, 2010 we had a great weekend together at Lake Arrowhead. The kids were so perfect both ways on the drive, it was so quiet Kevin and I were able to catch up and talk. We were able to stay at a friend's cabin, they have motorcycles, boat and the kitchen is stocked. The kids also slept really well which made everything super easy. The lake water was really clear and clean. We enjoyed hiking around the lake, playing in the water and exploring the cute little village.

September 23, 2010. My Grandmother is so cute! She baked us an apple pie to celebrate Westin's birth. Ashlin loves playing in her house - there are so many things to get into! Thatcher named her GRAM CRACKER about 2 years ago because it was his favorite word, somehow it stuck. The beautiful rose is in her garden.

Westin 5 weeks old

Westin is 5 weeks old and such a good baby! He loves to eat, he is like a little snapping turtle when is comes to eating time! He sleeps for about 3 hours at a time and enjoys being in the swing - looking around with wide eyes. He is a very easy going baby, much like Ashlin. I think the second baby is even easier than the first.
Happy to report that everyone is doing well, Kevin has been putting in the hours to help out as much as possible. I had a horse show this past weekend and will be heading to San Juan Capistrano this weekend for another show so Kevin has had lots of quality time with both kids. Ashin loves the baby and will cover up his feet with his blanket and tell everyone to "shhhhhhh" - baby is sleeping! She has been very helpful and likes to copy everything I do - it is really fun having a mini-me!!
