Family Photo for a Magazine Article

One of the local SB Magazines is printing a CONGRATULATIONS to our family on our newest member with a photo. Westin had a check up today - he is healthy and happy. He gained over 1 1/2 pounds in one week (60th percentile for weight). WOW-how he likes to eat. He is 21 inches long (50th percentile for height).

Ashlin now loves to swims by herself and leap into the deep end - it is really cute. Westin enjoys swinging in the shade watching.

Happy Birthday Papa Bear!!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone for their kindness and generosity. This beautiful bouquet of flowers are from Christina - Ashlin's babysitter. We have also received visits, dinners, desserts and tons of presents from so many - it has been awesome!

Welcome WESTIN DEAN GOODWIN

Happy to announce that Westin Dean Goodwin joined our family today 8-7-2010 at 12:21 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 20.5 inches long. His birth was short and rather easy. We went to the hospital Saturday morning around 5am with contractions. By noon I was already to go. I pushed 3 times and Westin made his entry into the world. He has dark hair (just like Ashlin did) blue eyes (he opens them a lot, a strong brow (like his daddy) and a cute button nose. I had my toes painted BLUE for the special arrival of our baby boy!

Celebrating Ashlin's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Ashlin's 2nd birthday with lots of presents and fun at the fair. Ashlin had her 2 year check up, she is very healthy according to the doctor. She weighs 25 pounds (30th percentile) and is 34 1/4 inches tall (60th percentile). She enjoys pointing out poop - bird poop, dog poop, horse poop - anything poop. She loves to be chased and giggles a lot. She plays pretend by putting on pretend make-up espeically lipstick and eye shadow. She also loves building blocks - she is a healthly and very happy child.

Birthdays, Birth and Cousins UPDATE

No baby yet! Feeling like it could be any day. Still working hard with the horses and also having lots of fun with my sister, Aimee, and her 2 kids, Thatcher and Porter. We have been swimming and going to the beach. Ashlin loves Porter and Thatcher so much and has a blast playing all day of them. Having my sister around is also really great, she helps with everything and makes my life that much easier. Celebrated Ashlin's birthday with presents and cupcakes - taking her to the fair tomorrow.
