JUNE 2010 - Father's Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing Father's Day Weekend. It started out with a nice breakfast at home then we headed north to Solvang and enoyed a walk around the town and some fabulous treats. Next stop was Papa Les and Nana Lou's house. We went to evening mass in Cambria with Ashlin's God Father, Father Mark Stetz. Afterward we all went to dinner at Linn's Fruit Binn and shared the dessert sampler plater - it was amazing (everything a pregnant woman could want). Sunday was relaxing with a big breakfast cooked by Nana Lou, then Kevin and Ashlin went to play with some friends (Adam, Carrie Olcott and kids). Although Logan is much older than Ashlin they had a great time together. That afternoon we went to bbq with all the Goodwins + kids. It was a really nice weekend.

Work = Fun at the Lake

We had such a fun weekend. Kevin, myself and Ashlin took 4 cients, 4 ponies and 1 Quad ATV to Lake Nacimento to ride and have fun in the lake. A client owns a lake house where we stay. We drove up on Friday afternoon, on Saturday I took the clients on a trail ride - they rode the horses and I followed on the ATV Quad. Then in the afternoon we took out the new boat on the lake, everyone (except me, I am after all due to give birth in 6 weeks) rode the tube or wake boarded. Kevin is getting good. Then we drove into Paso Robles to eat at Big Bubba's BBQ for dinner where all the girls all rode the mechanical bull. Then we packed up and came home on Sunday. Ashlin loved riding in the car with all the girls sitting next to her. She was so good for the car ride, the girls played with her and tickled her. It was an amazing time, and to think that I was actually working. LIFE IS GOOD!! Only 6 more weeks until our little Westin comes!

Sunday Afternoon Pool FUN!!

We had such a wonderful Sunday afternoon, relaxing with company. Megan (Pooh Bear) and Nick (Uncle Nibbles), my Mom, Jimmy, John and baby Addison all enjoyed fun time in the pool then a fabulous bbq. Ashlin loves the water and is not scared to get her face wet or really being tossed around in it. She is very entertaining.

Hiking at More Mesa

We had a fantastic Saturday spent hiking on More Mesa (big open preserve above the beach). Ashlin and Louie loved picking the wildflowers and running through the tall grass. It was a super relaxing and nice day!
Pregnancy update: everything going great, feeling good - just getting bigger. Had a horse show last weekend. Only have 3 more horse shows, 1 lake trip with clients and 2 parties to host...then the baby boy can come!! We are already; bought a new carseat and a new Double BOB stroller(my pride and joy) yesterday. Ashlin loves to kiss my tummy and sometimes lifts up my shirt to kiss it even when it might not be the best time - like in front of strangers, it is funny. She is saying lots of words and communicates what she needs very easily - she always knows exactly what she wants. She uses her sign language a lot with the spoken word just to make sure there is no confusion. She is a great little girl and makes us very happy and smile a lot!
