After a long morning of opening presents everyone needed a nap.

Merry Christmas 2014

What a magical Christmas. We attended the Christmas Eve Mass at the SB Mission - it was so beautiful and the signers are amazing. Then we had a wonderful Christmas morning with good food and lots of presents.

Holiday Program

Westin's School Holiday Program

Westin had his school holiday program today. He did such a great job, he sang every word to all 5 songs (often times holding the note long after everyone else). He posed with his teacher Mrs. Bittner and Santa.

Gingerbread houses

Ashlin and Westin LOVE arts and crafts. They really enjoyed decorating their gingerbread houses. It took Ashlin 5 solid days of using her free time to finish her house.

Cousin Fun

James and Catherine came into town for the weekend and all the kids had a lot of fun together. We got them all dressed up to visit Santa and stroll the mall then to dinner.

Ashlin Playing Soccer

Ashlin had a great soccer season, she is a very fast runner - always beating everyone down the field. Westin was a great supporter always on the sidelines cheering her on.

Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween! Ashlin and Westin had an amazing time collecting candy from our neighborhood, they used good manners saying "Trick or Treat" then telling each person what they were and "Thank you, Happy Halloween!". Made me so proud.

Montana Trip

October 2014 Montana Trip. We had such an amazing trip. We hiked the steep hill to the Missoula "M", the kids played amazingly well together, Zoom Zoom loved playing with Luna and Pica, Kevin enjoyed a Montana State Football game, I enjoyed a surprise day spa trip for my birthday.  We met our new nephew Baby Levi. We shopped at the huge John Deer Tractor Depot, Aimee cooked up a storm and we had special cupcakes for my birthday. It was a very special trip. It is so beautiful to see the changing leaves and gorgeous visits around Montana.

The next Karate Kid

Ashlin had her karate belt promotion test on Thursday. She did so well; first she demonstrated multiple combination (jab, cross, hook, round house kick), then she had to run to the center, bow, stand in black belt focus, state her name and her favorite fighting technique then demonstrate it. This was in front of all the parents, kids and 4 black belt adults. Her favorite technique is the "flying side kick." It was so cute she ran across the room at full speed flying through the air with her loud grunt as she kicked.
