My Little Assistant

Meet my new little assistant, Ashlin Rae - 4 yrs. old. Ashlin has been coming with me to work at the barn on Tuesday and Thursdays. She rides, feeds the horses and sits on the bench with me to give lessons. Sometimes she even cups her hands over her mouth to be heard better and yells directions at the girls riding - a little scary how much she is like me. But it is fun!

Monday Zoo Trip

The kids and I decided to have a mellow Monday and take a trip to the Zoo. Their favorite thing to do is to FEED ANYTHING POSSIBLE. We feed the fish, feed the giraffes, feed the goats, feed the sheep. It is lots of fun.

Miniature Horse Farm

We took a drive to Santa Ynez Valley today and stopped at the miniature horse farm called Quick Silver. It is so cute, everything is so small. And of course they are all for sale, but we did not come home with any. It was really fun.

Ashlin's Stats - LONG and LEAN

Ashlin had her 4 year check up today and 4 shots including taking her blood to check her iron levels. She was really good for the first 2 shots, then she had had enough. Her iron levels are excellent. She weighs 36 pounds (50th percentile) and 41 inches tall (75th percentile). As the doctor describes her; she is long and lean. These photos are of all her art work from the previous year. We display in her room for the school year, then take photos and recycle to make room for this school year.

7 yrs - Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to Kevin and Natalie. WOW - 7 years already! It keeps getting better and better! Love you!!

Westin's Hair Cut - BEFORE & AFTER

Westin has the most amazing hair - super blonde and super thick...just like his Daddy. He loves going to the hair salon to have it cut.
