SANTA

Ashlin LOVES Santa! We went during the week to visit him and there was no one there, he read her "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and gave her a candy cane (her new favorite word). Everyone loved how dressed up the kids were - lots of compliments! Then we toured the mall only to pass a miniature Toy'r'us, Ashlin walked right past it, then something caught her eye in the window and she ran back and said "OHHHHHHHHHH". It was really funny. Then we had a nice lunch together, it was a great time spent together - right out of a fairy tale! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus!

Ashlin's 1st trip to the SALON

Ashlin had her first trip to the salon today. She was excellent while she had her hair trimmed - and was rewarded for great behavior. She has been speaking in 2 & 3 words sentences. She refers to herself as Ashlin. Westin is happy and mellow where ever we take him. He is now sleeping through the ENTIRE night (9:30pm - 6:30am) at 4 months, we are really excited. He rolls over and loves watching Ashlin and Louie.

Weekend at Nana Lou & Papa Les's House

We had a super relaxing weekend at Nana Lou and Papa Les's house. James and Ashlin really enjoyed playing together, Corey played with Westin. Ashlin loved Mary Lou's cooking; especially the pancakes! Kevin took care of Westin both nights - so I got some much needed sleep. Between sleeping some and working out again I am starting to feel like myself again (of course working as hard as ever with the horses - just sold another client's horse and on the search for a new one for her - lessons and shows never stop!). Kevin is also working out a lot, he runs four mornings a week - his speed and distance are getting to be impressive.

A Wet Tuesday

It was a wet Tuesday, so we spent some time at Hope House with Papa.

Hope Ranch Beach & Riding

We had a great Saturday playing with the horses then playing at the beach. The weather was perfect at 77 degrees. Hope Ranch Beach has always been my favorite beach in SB - it is private, quiet and beautiful! Ashlin loves playing at the barn.

Early Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration

Thanks to the Wissel Family for hosting a family reunion and early Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration! It was amazing...food was fabulous (of course)-thank you Cheryl for assisting. Aunt Maggie had everything planned to perfection, there was presents for the kids, plenty of space to enjoy the weather under the tent and even a parting gift of marshmellow/carmel/chocolate treat. Everyone was there including all cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandma Margie and all the great grandchildren. The kids loved the bounce house and running around together. It was really fun!
