Caroling with Cornelia

 The kids and I took Cornelia (our miniature therapy horse) Christmas Caroling at a Retirement Mobile park on Sunday, there were over 300 units.  It was really fun, all the residents stayed on their doorsteps, smiled, waved and were very happy to see a dressed up little horse.

Congratulations Westin on your new pony!!!

 Westin has a new fabulous pony, her name is Cameo.  She is a beautiful liver chestnut and is the sweetest little thing.  Westin showed her in the walk/trot and poles division.  They earned 2nd place out of 8 other riders.  So proud!!

Westin asked for a photo shoot with his little buddy. It was fun. This is Westin's dog Small-z. We rescued him from a kill shelter two years ago. He follows Westin everywhere and sleeps with him every night. It is the cutest thing.

 

Halloween 2020

 We had a fun Halloween.  We watched Ghost Busters movies from 1984 and 1989 - they were great.  The kids dressed up and came to our front door about 6 times, collecting candy each time.  They seemed to enjoy it.

Ashlin Rae and Tippy Toes - BIG WINNER

 Two horse shows in two weeks - Ashlin Rae and her pony Tippy Toes were Champion in both shows. A huge accomplishment, these divisions are huge and include adults, trainers and professionals - she is the youngest and apparently the best. So proud of her. She won the $250 jumper stake and was greeted with lots of cheers and applause.

Montana 2020

Westin and I had an amazing trip to Montana, the weather was perfect and all the Fall colors are amazing!

Happy Birthday Westin Dean and Congratulations

 Westin turned 10 years old and celebrated with competing in his FIRST horse show.  He rode Romeo and did great, earning 2 second places and the overall reserve CHAMPION.  Great birthday!

Happy Birthday Ashlin Rae and CONGRATULATIONS

 Ashlin Rae - you are amazing!!  Happy 12th birthday, not only are you a sweet hard working gal BUT very talented.  Ashlin celebrated her birthday with Sadie (her horse) by riding to a DOUBLE Championship in the jumper division.  This does not coming easy, it is fastest time wins with a very complicated course of 14 different jumps.  The classes was HUGE, of course she is by far the youngest (only one on a pony and in braids) - still beating everyone!!  Just amazing to witness.

Congratulations Ashlin and Sadie!!

Congratulations Ashlin and Sadie - today they met and exceeded their goal of jumping a course of 3'.  These are very large jumps, no room for error and you can see the air time over the jump is very long. A very amazing accomplishment and at only 11 years old!!  They are such a great match.
