A Day at the MID - STATE FAIR

Allison and I drove up to Paso Robles for the day to spend at the fair. It was so much fun! The weather was great, a mild 90 degrees but by the time we left it was only 71 degrees. We ate corn dogs, blue freezes, kettle corn and funnel cakes. Allison really had her eye on the BIG FAT SAUSAGE! I tried to keep her away but what I can I say - she didn't listen! Ashlin loved everything including all the animals.

Friday Afternoon Fun with Pooh Bear & Uncle Nibbles

We are so lucky to have the pool. Megan and Chloe (her weiner) come up about 3 or 4 times a week and swim with Ashlin. The pool is usually about 88 degrees and perfect. Nick is called Uncle Nibbles because his name is Nick Iassac Blankenship N.I.B.! He is so much fun!

Update on Little Rae Rae

Little Rae Rae has been busy climbing stairs, pulling herself to a stand and entertaining herself with playtime. She will sit in front of her toys and play for a good hour while I cook dinner, catch up on email or run around the house all the time with a smile. She is such a good girl!

Welcome Catharine Ella Goodwin!

Corey and Ellen Goodwin are now the proud parents of Katherine Ella Goodwin, born July 15th 8lbs, 7oz and healthy.

Happy 4th of July

We had a great weekend celebrating 4th of July in San Luis Obispo! We went to a little fair (Ashlin loves the swings), then Tim Whitney's Party in Atascadero (good food, band, beautiful property), then we swam and enjoyed a bbq at a Adam & Carrie Olcott's house compete with festive fireworks. Great to see everyone, especially Uncle Markie and Aunt Lolo - we miss you guys!

Riding the Miniature Train

We went with the whole Goodwin Family (Kevin, Ashlin, Nana Lou, Papa Les, Corey, Ellen and James) to a Minature Train Ranch. It was very cute, miles and miles of track. We rode one around the for about 20 minutes, passing under tunnels and over bridges. Everyone loved it, Ashlin was very entertained!
