San Diego Zoo Safari Park

San Diego Zoo Safari Park adventure - how amazing! We had so much fun going on the animal caravan, we rode in the back of a truck across 1600 acres of animals. We fed the giraffes and saw lots of baby animals. Then we had a special behind the scenes tour, just us with our own personal guide being driven around in a golf cart - it was awesome. Our guide ended up being a super high up that had been with the zoo for 15 years and new everything and got to go everywhere. We had personal up close experiences with a porcupine and a cute little armadillo. Also he look us behind the scenes to learn and see the lions. They were so cool. But the real highlight was going out right next to the open 1600 acres and having him call his favorite Rhinoceros over, she came right over with her brand new baby. We fed them. The Mama Rhino weighs 4,000 pounds - it was awesome. Such a fun day!

Easter 2017

Easter Fun! Decorating cookies, dyeing eggs, church, many egg hunts and lots and lots of candy!!

Spring Flag Football

Westin is at it again, playing every sport available. He had his personal best in flag football this past week. He scored his team's only touchdown with a long run down the field, running past multiple people to get the touchdown. He also played amazing defensive. He is the youngest and smallest player on his team but that doesn't stop him.

Westin learns to ride a bike!!

So proud of Westin...he has learned to ride a bike. He is very excited, he ate it pretty hard a few times... some tears but we got back on each time.

After the rain..

Montana

Another great ski trip to Montana. It was cold on the mountain. The first day was -2 at 10am but we had fresh powder so it was worth it! The kids are really getting good. Ashlin and Porter were skiing by themselves, I would see them flying down the mountain together...laughing. Westin really enjoyed following Thatcher through all the trails, he tried to make his own trail (not advised) and got stuck in powder up to his chest. He would go so fast down the mountain that his legs would get speed wobbles. All so fun.

Riding Club Banquet

The annual Santa Barbara Riding Club Awards Banquet. It was a very nice luncheon. Lot of clients won high point year end awards.  Ashlin was awarded the Louise Caccese Sportsmanship Award. "It is awarded to the rider who best personifies the high standards and virtues of integrity, sportsmanship, honor, team spirit, good temper and unselfishness."  Ashlin was nominated and voted on by the board of directors, it is a very high honor to receive it.  We are very proud of her.

Disneyland FUN!!

 What a magical time! We had so much fun at Disneyland. Westin was tall enough to go on ALL the roller coasters, we started with Space Mountain - he loved it. After the fireworks it snowed.
