Grandparents Day at school

Westin - our little Athlete

Westin had a fantastic weekend with both his games. On Friday night during his flag football game he intercepted the ball and ran for a touch down. He is the youngest and smallest on his team, being the only kindergartner. His teammates were so proud of him they all ran over and picked him up. He was so happy he started getting misty eyed. The following day he scored 3 goals during his soccer game.

Early Saturday morning...

Horse Show time... Here is Saturday at 6AM. Ashlin is on her second horse of the morning. Learning very quickly all the behind the scenes work that goes into it. She stayed all day at the show (except for one soccer game where she scored a goal), competing on 3 horses. Sunday morning came quickly, she worked two horses by 7AM and showed the rest of the day.

My little rider....she is amazing!

Ashlin is quickly becoming an amazing rider - this not normal for an 8 year old child to be jumping this high and so well. She loves it and smiles the whole time. She is riding multiple horses 4/5 times per week.

Kevin's 40th Birthday Party

Happy 40th Birthday Kevin.  It was a huge success and so much fun.  A beautiful family reunion.  It was amazing to get all the kids together and see all the family.

Fiesta and Family

So much fun with Fiesta. We watched Ashlin dance, went in the parade, roasted marshmallows, hit open a pinata, celebrated birthdays and ate ate ate. It was great!

So proud of Ashlin Rae on her amazing dancing... she is in charge of the final count during the routine to signal to all the other dancers when the time to bow is. She counts, stomps her foot then they all bow - it is so cute.

Fun Times at the police station, fire station and Ventura community center. The kids had a great time and were sworn in.

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July! We had a wonderful weekend. Mark, Lora and kids stayed with us. It was super fun. We went to the Natural History Museum and walked through the butterfly exhibit, beautiful flowers and lots of real butterflies all around. The fireworks were amazing, we watched them from the house - pretty amazing!!
