First they warmed up in the pool, then waited for their heat to be called. She was in the 6 & Unders (she is only 4, so most kids were older than her).
Then she moved to her assigned chair in the lane which she would race.
Her swim coach, Preston, giving her some more advice.
The swim meet was held at La Cumbre Country Club.
On your marks, she is counting down.
The buzzer! And she is off.
LEAPING into the water!!
With all her might!
And then she swam her little heart out.
Preston was there for every stroke encouraging her along.
She earned two 4th place ribbons in the back stroke and free style. She did GREAT!

We are sooooo proud of Ashlin!! Makes me so happy to see her in the water. My favorite picture is the one of her jumping in flying through the air like a spider monkey!! Love IT!!
