Kevin and the kids went camping at Lake Casitas. They slept in a tent, roasted marsh-mellows, played by the lake and had a great time! The kids are already planning the next trip.

Ashlin and I took a trip to MONTANA to visit our family. It was a wonderful trip, everyone loved playing together.

Baby Chicks

We met Pooh Bear (my sister Megan) at the local feed store to pick out some baby chicks. They are all so cute, we decided on 3. A dark red with black tail that is named Cherry Lollipop, a dark black one with blue sheen named Batman and lastly a black and white speckled named Ice Cream.

Carnival

The kids and I attended a little school carnival this afternoon, they enjoyed the popicles and face painting.

LIttle Swimmer - Ashlin Rae

Congratulations to Ashlin - she swam the whole length of the pool by herself. She earned a t-shirt from her swim school. I am so proud of her. She has only been taking lessons for 8 months. She is learning all the different swim strokes.

Disneyland 2013

We had a fantastic day at Disneyland. The lines were short and the kids loved every minute - we had lots of special treats and so much fun together!

In Loving Memory of Molly

It was a really hard day on Sunday. Ashlin's beloved pony Molly passed away, it was very unexpected. The vet said it was painless and she passed away in her sleep. Ashlin has her been riding a lot and was planning on showing Molly this year. We have such great memories of Molly, Ashlin's first show was on her and every time riding since. Molly taught many many kids to ride and was so safe ans so sweet in doing so - we will miss her so much! Ashlin has cried everynight for Molly. She says "Molly was the best pony ever, I want her to be alive." She didn't believe me when I told her and when she went to the stable for the first time after Molly's passing she ran around and checked to make sure she wasn't there. It was really hard to watch. Ashlin and I planted a apple tree in Molly's honor. We will call it the "Molly Apple Tree". We miss you Molly!
